Tom Lüthi invites you to race track training with BMW Motorrad

Tom Lüthi is not only looking forward to another year in the Moto2 World Championship in 2021. Next year, Tom will realise the idea of the "Tom Lüthi Riding School" for the first time together with long-time partner BMW Motorrad.

In the first year of the programme, there will be two racetrack dates where riders of all levels can sign up and benefit from Tom's tips and tricks at the circuits in Dijon (26 April 2021) and Anneau Du Rhin (18 July 2021). However, speed is certainly not the only focus of the racetrack training sessions. The varied agenda includes a wide range of topics, from safety to theoretical knowledge through to the latest models of BMW Motorrad.

Parallel to the fun of the shared experience on the race track and the constant improvement of one's own lap times, the main goal is to be fast and safe on the road at the same time. In a didactically sophisticated mix of theory and practice and on the perfectly prepared racetracks, Lüthi introduces his students to the ideal line, the perfect braking points and the optimal combination of speed and lean angle lap by lap and curve by curve. The racetrack training sessions are designed for riders with different levels of experience and are open to motorbikes of all makes. In addition, BMW Motorrad Switzerland provides a test fleet with the BMW M 1000 RR, BMW S 1000 RR and BMW S 1000 XR models, which participants can use for a stint if they wish.

Tom Lüthi:

The idea of accompanying and leading racetrack trainings had been pursued by my management and me together with BMW Motorrad for quite some time. Finally, we can put this into practice. The two training sessions in 2021 should serve as a starting point on which we can build up. I am curious to see how the participants react to my advice.
