Tom Lüthi will start from 12th position

Today, Saturday, the qualifying sessions for the Dutch Grand Prix took place in Assen. Tom Lüthi was able to further build up confidence to his bike and set consistent lap times - he will therefore start tomorrow's race from twelfth position.

Tom Lüthi already had a good feeling for his Kalex in the first two practices yesterday and was able to build on this today. Thus, the Swiss makes it directly into Q2 after a strong FP3. In the qualifying session he finally made it with his best time of 1:37.079 on the 12th place and will so start the Dutch Grand Prix tomorrow from the fourth row.

Tom Lüthi (P12 | 1'37.079)

Today has been a good day. Finally, we could make the step into the Q2 directly after setting a good lap in the FP3. I’m happy with that, my team really deserved this after all their hard work. In the Q2, I had a good feeling straight from beginning. I pushed straight from beginning and the third lap was also my fastest lap. It was good but I still think we have work to do. We are taking the warm up as another session to continue improving. I would say this has been the best weekend so far and we are on the way up. We have to keep on going like this. Thanks to the team, good job!
